There is nothing that annoys me as much as a thick eygptian accent. Seriously I can not stand it. lol there are some words in masri that just bug me so much. And the thing is that most of these are common phrases, so being masriyah even my parents say it sometimes.. and ofcourse my family etc so I hear it alot.. from the ones that really bug me

'Ayiz eh = what do you want

 

'a'uoodi hinna = sit here

ba'oolik eh = I'll tell you what

 

'izzayik = how are you

gameelah awy awy = very very nice

 

ha'ik 'alayah = ermm something like its my fault. your right etc

 

wala haga = nothing

a'uoodi gembi = sit next to me

 

ya geda' = dont even know how to translate that..

kidda = used in many ways.. stirr it kidda would mean stir it like this.. etc.. usually means "like this"

 

ya gameel = ya = o. gameel = beautiful

awy awy = alot alot, very very.. anything with this annoys me

 

and its not only the words its the tone of voice.. lol.. anyways for reals imma go sleep now.. I got busy talking to hina and then my COUSIN (thats where this rant came from).. but now 'tis sleep time.
