alhamdulilah had a good day, almost great actually. My good mood is staying with me, wa lillahil hamd. This time I think its a forreal good mood, not a front like usual. So thats good alhamdulilah. As far as how my day was, here's a quick run down.
Whent to khala Ghada's around 4:30ish. Khala Enas was there :D :D, as was her mom who is visiting her from saudia. mannnn I misssssed herr.. so we chilled out at khala Ghada's till almost 7. Khala Enas and her mom wanted to walk to the masjid, and since she had "forgotten" how to get around Corvallis they needed a guid lol. I told her I'd walk with them, even though its like a 3 mile walk and it was hot. Khala Ghada says she'll drive a little after we leave and told me "take walnut to kings, dont take side streets" ha! like I'm going to listen. Ended up walking down half of walnut then take a side road to kings :P.
Masjid was nice alhamdulillah. It was pretty much packed. Alottttt of people. I've become somewhat anti social though, especially when it comes to the "girls" group. But I'll leave that for tommorrow... now I'm tired shway. My mom had to leave at 8:20 couse dad gets off work fridays at 8:30, but I stayed at the masjid till after maghrib so it was around 10 when I got home.
When I got home I was cravingggg something sweet. Like I was going to go crazy looking for something. I've been in this sweet mood for the past week or so, so the house was pretty much empty of anything sweet. I'd bee wanting to bake something for the past few days but since baba's diabetic and he's equally addicted to sweets I havn't. Today I was like whatever, Im making something. Made chocolate chip cookies and brownies :D. I had to call up khala Aisha to get the brownie recipe and its like 10:45, she goes "YOUR MAKING IT NOW?" I was like "yea".. shes like "mashaAllah..." hehe. So yes, I made them and now am eating.
khala Enas is supposed to be heading back to Iowa tommorrow :(. But inshaAllah I think we convinced her to try and convince 'amu to stay another day at least. And it seems it has worked.. couse at the masjid we decided we'd have a "get together" tommorrow, and khala Faykah told me before I left that if we dont get a phone call saying its cancled then inshaAllah everything will go as planned. And since its wayyy to late for a phone call, inshaAllah it will go as planned.
I love khala Faykah.. like so so so much.. and inshaAllah the feeling is mutal.. I really look up to her, she's my role model when it comes to alot of things. Today she gave me the longest most warmest hug and congradulated me.. I guess Tassnym told her that I finished.. and she just smiled, gave me some nice advice and congradulated me again.. lol, even my parents didnt do that.. my dads reaction was "so when do you get your diploma", me "when I get the rest of my exams back and you pay the rest of the tuition :P" him "oh ok, more 90's?(hatin on me couse I got a 90 on one of my exams :().. and my moms reaction "mashaAllah, alhamdulilah.. now lets just hope you did good on your exams".. ahh alhamdulilah 'ala kulli haal..
That reminds me!!!!!! I got the grade back for one of my finals.. 96, which is an A alhamdulilah. I'm not sure what my final grade in that class is though, couse I havnt gotten all my exams for it corrected.. but alhamdulilah if I get that good a grade on them all I wont complain!
Anyways, I promised khala Enas I'd do a search for her.. so I besta do that.. and then I have a lecture I've been trying to listen to since last night but can't seem to get past the 7 minutes of it :/. well I got to 15 once. Every time I get to around that point I have to go do something else. so I burned it and inshaAllah I'll listen before going to bed..
